DESCRIPTION:

Meeting with staff at the meeting point (meeting point details will be shared at the time of booking) and departure for Etna volcano, the highest still active volcano in Europe (3,345m). On arrival, visit to the Crateri Silvestri.

Optional: possibility of climbing the volcano by cable car and/or 4×4 bus up to 2,800m.

At the end of the visit, departure for Taormina, a pretty and romantic town on the slopes of Mount Tauro (204m). Time at leisure to visit the famous Greek Theatre (entrance fee: not included) from where you can admire a splendid view of the volcano Mount Etna and the Bay of Taormina.

At the end, return to Palermo.

Lunch, local English-speaking guide FD (max 8h), ascent by cable car and 4×4 bus, entrance fees to the Greek Theatre in Taormina 10,00 € p.p. + 2,00 € p.p. our fee to include entrance fees.

SUPPLEMENT:

Cable car ascent and 4×4 bus * € 66.00 per person

* This is an individual, non-exclusive tour with a multilingual mountain guide. The 4×4 buses can accommodate a maximum of 20 people. Tours are always to be reconfirmed a few days in advance due to weather conditions. If you want your private guide to be with you also during the cable car/ 4×4 bus ascent, the cost for the guide’s ticket must also be considered.
